"Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he" (Proverbs 29:18).
Your vision--what you see--is critical to birthing your divine destiny. And I'm not speaking about optical vision, but your spiritual sight. What is it that you see in the spirit?
In the very beginning, God set a pattern of visualizing His spoken Word. After He created the world and everything in it, the Bible records in Genesis 1:31, "And God SAW everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good." He spoke creation into being, and He SAW that it was good. In other words, His vision followed His confession.
Could it be that the reason we don't experience a greater manifestation of God's power and glory is that we SEE contrary to what we confess? For example, after you confessed that by Jesus' stripes you were healed, did you SEE yourself as one that was healed? Or did you continue to see yourself and address yourself as one who was still sick? When you spoke over that child and declared that he was made for signs and wonders, did you SEE him in that light? Or did you continue to see a dull and troublesome child?
Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish..." In other words, where there is no vision, there is no manifestation of the possibilities contained in the Word that you received from God. God called Abraham, Father of nations, but then, He asked Him to visualize His Word by picturing in his mind the number of stars in the sky and sand on the seashore (Genesis 22:17). God said to the children of Israel, "SEE, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the Lord swore He would give to your fathers--to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob--and to their descendants after them" (Deuteronomy 1:8). His Word was going to be of no effect to Israel if Israel did not SEE in the spirit what God said. God told Joshua that He had delivered Jericho along with its king and army into his hand but called on him to SEE that it was so (Joshua 6:2). Although it had not happened in the natural, God called them to visualize His Word with their spirits.
This is a pattern that we must master if we will birth all that God has spoken to us. First comes His Word. After you have received the Word, confess the Word, engage your mind with the Word, and visualize the fullness of the Word that you received. Don't stop with just confessing that you are healed; SEE that you are healed. Do not stop with confessing that you are out of debt; SEE that you are debt-free. SEE yourself walking and living the life that God has called you to live.
God bless you.
Faith-Filled Confession:
I fix my mind and mouth on God's Word. In the midst of what may look like chaos, I declare that there is progress and advancement. I declare healing, peace, progress, and prosperity in my community. I declare that God's Word prevails in Jesus' name. Amen.
Prayer Points
Declare that our brethren are guided by the wisdom of God in their associations, jobs, business ventures and partnerships. They are constantly led by the Spirit of God and guided away from error and poor/bad decisions that may incur losses or negative effects on them.( Isa 30:21; Isa 58:11, 1 Cor 1:30)
Pray for our brethren, that more than ever, they will stay focused on Christ and the things of the Kingdom, and they will not be distracted by the transient pleasures of this world.
Pray for our brethren, that an indescribable hunger for souls is stirred in them continually causing them to preach the word everywhere with boldness, resulting to the salvation of more souls and that the Word of the Lord may increase and bear more fruits in them (Acts 4:29-31)
