TWO IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT THE KINGDOM

02/18/2024

"Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the soil, though it is the smallest of all the seeds that are upon the soil, but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade” (Mark 4:30-32).

There is a way things are in the kingdom of God, and until you get this, your access to the fruits of salvation will be compromised or, at best, a hit-and-miss experience. If there is anything to note about the Christian experience, it is about being spiritually accurate. Now, the fruits of salvation are the things that are yours by right, based on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. By right, health, ( see 1 Peter 2:24), wealth ( see 2 Corinthians 9:8), preservation (see 1 Thessalonians 5:23) and every spiritual blessing ( see Ephesians 1:3) are yours because of the Father's acceptance of Jesus' perfect sacrifice. In other words, Jesus paid for you to live free so that you would not have to incur any obligation to do so.

However, to live and function in the Kingdom of God on earth, after you get born-again, you have to understand that everything in our kingdom operates by seed time and harvest. In Genesis 8:22, the LORD said, “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” So as long as you can experience day and night, summer and winter, and cold and heat, this principle of seedtime and harvest is in office. The only way you will appropriate any of the fruits of salvation is by seedtime and harvest. What this means is that everything you will ever experience by operating the principles of the Kingdom must have a seed, ground, some cultivation practice, and patience.

Explaining the parable of the sower to His disciples, Jesus said, "The sower sows the word..." (Mark 4:14), meaning that the seed is the word. For example, if you want to experience health, the seed is the word of God on health. The ground in this parable is your heart. Mark 4:15 tells us that the enemy's agenda is to steal the Word of God from your heart. Therefore, sowing the word means deliberately letting the word go into your heart through your ears, eyes and mouth lavishly. Paul writes, "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully" (2 Corinthians 9:6).

What this means is that you have got to sow the word of God in your heart with a sort of addiction and then wait until you see the word take form in the area where you want to experience the fruit of salvation. "And He [Jesus] said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how" (Mark 4:26-27).

Saint, it's not your business to ask how; your job is to sow bountifully. Flood your heart with scriptures and teachings and then meditate and confess the word of God related to the experience you desire.

The other thing to note about the Kingdom of God is the authority of the King. Jesus said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth...Go therefore...[in this authority. (Matthew 28:18-19). The fulfillment of our primary assignment and every associated activity, including enjoying the fruits of salvation, is hinged on understanding how to be in and/or under authority. Colossians 1:16 says, "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him." This means using the name of Jesus appropriately. You use the seed principle to materialize your rights but the name of Jesus for enforcement of those rights. Phillipans 2:10 says, "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.

As the year progresses, these two important things will significantly account for the praise reports that you give. So, walk circumspectly.

God bless you.

Faith-Filled Confession

I walk circumspectly in the aspects of sowing the word in my heart and exercising authority in the Name of Jesus. My results are outstanding and unending because the Greater One lives in me. Hallelujah!
