SYNERGY TO THE VISION AND MANDATE

1/14/2026

Acts 26:16–18

“Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of Me. I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”

In Jeremiah 3:14–15, God said to the children of Israel, “Return, O faithless children…for I am your master…and I will bring you to Zion. Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”  To be brought to Zion speaks of salvation—but God did not stop there. He immediately followed salvation with shepherding. In God’s design, no saved person is without a shepherd.

This means that having a pastor is not optional; it is part of your salvation package. God Himself appoints shepherds for His people even before they are saved. Just as a child does not search for biological parents after birth, a believer does not need to shop for spiritual covering. God already knows what you need, and your pastor is His provision for your growth, protection, and prosperity.

Your pastor was called with you in mind. You are the reason for the anointing upon their life. If God had not planned to save you, He would not have raised that shepherd to serve you. Their mandate carries your name. The vision God placed in their heart was designed with your wholeness, maturity, and fruitfulness in mind.

Ephesians 4:11–13 tells us that God gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers “for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” In other words, your pastors are anointed to draw out what God has already deposited in you. Alignment with their vision is essential for that deposit to be activated.

Amos 3:3 asks, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” The prosperity of a pastoral mandate requires agreement. What is the value of preparing a meal for someone who has no desire to eat? God has placed so much within you, but it will only flow fully when you are properly aligned with the vision He has entrusted to your pastor.

One truth I live by is this: God desires you to be Heaven’s expression on earth. My heart is to see you prosper in the finished work of Christ. You did not choose me to be your pastor—God did. Therefore, let nothing disrupt this divine relationship. It is an honor to serve you, and I pray that the Holy Spirit grants you clarity, understanding, and grace to fully embrace the vision and your role in this divine assignment.
