“Jesus replied, ‘You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.’” (Matthew 22:29)
Faith is not ignoring facts—it’s living by the higher reality of God’s Word. As believers, we don’t function according to natural circumstances; we operate from the truth revealed in Scripture. When the world says, “Admit you’re sick,” we say, “By His stripes, I am healed.” When they say, “You’re broke,” we declare, “My God supplies all my needs.” This isn’t denial—it’s spiritual accuracy.
Jesus corrected the Sadducees because they couldn’t grasp spiritual truth. He said they were in error because they didn’t know the Scriptures or the power of God. That word “know” refers to spiritual perception—seeing with prophetic insight. Many today live defeated lives not because of sin or Satan, but due to a lack of revelation. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” That’s why the Word must govern your thoughts, not your senses.
We’re not just saved to survive—we’re called to demonstrate God's excellence and power. 1 Peter 2:9 (AMP) says we are chosen to “proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.” That’s not possible without revelation. The flesh may react, but the spirit responds with authority when it is full of the Word.
God has given us access to mysteries hidden from the natural man. Jesus said, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom” (Matthew 13:11). You are anointed to know what others cannot see, and this divine insight empowers you to live above sickness, lack, and fear.
Don’t settle for surface-level Christianity. Deepen your understanding of the Word. Walk in the power of God. Live the supernatural life that Jesus paid for with His blood. You are not ordinary—you are born of the Spirit and destined for glory!
Faith-Filled Confession:
I know the Scriptures and the power of God. I live above the senses and walk in divine insight. My life is a reflection of God’s glory, victory, and wisdom. I refuse fear, lack, and confusion. The Spirit of God is at work in me—causing me to triumph always. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prayer Point
Colossians 4:2-4 says, ”Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak”. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: ”And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God”.
1. Pray for minister that new doors of opportunity for ministry be opened to them, and utterance be granted them to proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ unhindered, without fear or reproach, but in power and effectiveness.
2. Pray for ministers who are facing severe persecutions, especially from family that they be strengthened to stand firm in all the will of God.
3. Pray for servants—pastors, leaders, and ministers—who are under attack from within the very congregations they serve. There are active plots, misunderstandings, and false accusations, and schemes of the enemy working through division and strife to displace these ministers.
