AFFIRMING DIVINE HEALTH

1/18/2026

Isaiah 53:5

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”

1 Peter 2:24

“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”

Do you realize that the same price that was paid for your salvation is the same price that was paid for your healing? Healing was not an afterthought—it was fully included in the redemptive work of Christ. This means you do not have to strain, beg, or manufacture a special kind of faith to receive healing. Healing belongs to you by right.

If healing and forgiveness of sins were placed on a scale, forgiveness of sins would weigh more—yet both were fully paid for at the cross. In Mark 2, we read the account of the paralyzed man who was lowered through the roof by his friends. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

The religious leaders immediately objected, accusing Jesus of blasphemy, because only God can forgive sins. Jesus then asked a profound question:

“Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’?”

To Jesus, healing the man’s paralysis was the easier matter. Why? Because sickness has no legal right where sin has been dealt with. When sin was judged at the cross, sickness lost its authority as well.

You must understand this truth: sickness, disease, and infirmity are works of the devil. To tolerate sickness is to tolerate the devil, and Scripture commands us to give him no place (Ephesians 4:27). Sickness is just as unlawful as lying, stealing, or cheating.

Acts 10:38 tells us that “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil.” Healing is not merely something God does—it is an expression of His goodness.

Furthermore, Scripture declares that God “wishes above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2). God is deeply invested in your health and wellbeing—far more than you could ever be.

Therefore, you must not tolerate sickness in your body. Do not wait until symptoms appear before you begin confessing God’s Word. Stir up your faith daily in divine health. Speak to your body. Declare that every organ, system, tissue, and cell functions perfectly. Speak life to your blood. Speak strength to your bones. Speak health to your entire being.

This is not denial—it is faith in the finished work of Christ. Hallelujah!

Prayer Points

  • Thank God that by the stripes of Jesus, you were healed.

  • Declare that you and your loved ones walk in divine health throughout this year.

  • Pray for those who are sick—in their homes, hospitals, and treatment centers—especially those declared incurable by medical science.

  • Pray that the healing anointing will be evident and tangible in our ministry and in all our services.

  • Declare that we will not only record notable healings, but also creative miracles to the glory of God.

Faith-Filled Confession

I thank You, Father, that by the stripes of Jesus I was healed. I declare that no sickness or disease has permission to dwell in my body. I walk in divine health, strength, and vitality all the days of my life. I prosper in health and wholeness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
