God is great and everything that He does is great. There is nothing that He has ever touched that turned out to be small, including YOU! You are an awesome person to be around; if that weren't the case, God would have left you long ago. The fact that God is committed to you and has said that He would never leave or forsake you tells me just how valuable you are. Romans 1:20 says, "For His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse." In other words, no one can deny the awesomeness of God after meeting you.
But let me show you how to walk in the reality of God's greatness and miracles. In Luke 17:11-19, the Bible says, "And it came to pass, as He (Jesus) went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when He saw them, He said unto them, go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And He said unto him, arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole."
Number one: BELIEVE EVERYTHING THE WORD SAYS ABOUT YOU. If the Word says you are blessed, healed, victorious, exquisite, then you must believe you are everything the Word says you are. The lepers believed that Jesus was capable of changing their condition. And like the lepers, we must believe in God's ability to do exactly what His Word says without doubt. For example, in Ephesians 1:3, the Scripture says, "…For in our union with Christ He has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world." In other words, God's blessing was conferred on us on the basis of our union with Christ, and since it is on account of Christ, it cannot be reversed. You must believe and confess that you are forever blessed!
Number two: Faith and gratitude go hand-in-hand. Jesus said to the one that came back to glorify God, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And He said unto him, arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole." Saints, it's impossible to believe God and be ungrateful at the same time. Faith in the Word will make a worshipper out of you. If you believe God's Word that says that you are already blessed and healed, you will thank Him for what He has already done. The Bible says that He has blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings. Hallelujah!
The way to receive and enjoy great miracles is to believe God's Word with an attitude of thanksgiving. Better still, punctuate your faith with thanksgiving. Act on God's Word, knowing that whatever the Lord has said is already done. Just like the ten lepers, when Jesus said, "…Go shew yourselves unto the priests." They knew it was already done even though they didn't see a physical change. They acted as though they had physical, verifiable proof. But the one that came back to give thanks and testify got more than a healing. He received God's great miracle.
So my question to you is this: Do you want a healing or to be made whole? Healing is for everyone, but to be made whole, you must rejoice and testify.
Faith-Filled Confession:
I rejoice in the Word of God. I refuse to be controlled by external forces. I respond and act based on the eternal Word of God. I declare that I am a victor in this life. I am vitalized in my body, my mind is sound, and my spirit is alive unto God. This is a day of celebration for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
