THINK ON HIS LEVEL

11/03/2024

“Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father];” (Ephesians 5:1 AMP).

God wants for you to think on His level because until you start thinking on His level, you will not appropriate the fullness of His blessing that is made available to you in Christ Jesus. To think on His Level is to think on His Word and to think in the light of Christ’s accomplished conquest over hell and death.

In Psalm 84:11, David said, “For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” In the old covenant, the blessing was dependent on their works. The favor and honor of God was dependent on them walking blameless before Him. However, in the new covenant, the blessing is dependent solely on Grace. Meaning, every one that has confessed Jesus as Lord, has received favor, honor and every good thing from the Lord. God’s present-hour picture is that we are favored, honored and have lavishly been bestowed with every good thing in this life. And we did nothing to deserve it.

It all came on us when Jesus became the Lord of our lives.

So, if your thinking is still rooted in a performance based system of blessing or a “do good, get good” or “do bad, get bad” system of blessing, you will never walk in or experience God’s favor and honor or enjoy the good things that He has for you in this life. As a Christian, God has given you richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17). So think, talk and walk that way. Praise God!

On the other hand, when you don't think on God's level, you open yourself up to frustration and hopelessness. Frustration that arises from a conflict between one’s experience and the reality of God's Word. But make no mistake, the Word of God is forever settled. Say this with me “My prosperity is in the Word. My victory is in the Word. My health is in the Word. My increase is in the Word.” Praise God!

God bless you.

Faith Filled Confession:

The Word of God is the final authority in my life. The Word of God is my reality. My prosperity is in the Word. My victory is in the Word. My health is in the Word. My increase is in the Word. I refuse to be governed by the senses. I live by the Word today. In Jesus' name. Amen.
