TAKE HIS POSITION IN EVERYTHING

“ But if we live in the light in the same way that God is in the light, we have a relationship with each other. And the blood of his Son Jesus cleanses us from every sin.” — 1 John 1:7

God has made abundant provision for you in Christ. There is nothing in this world that should cause you to be disadvantaged. In Christ, you have victory over this world. First John 5:4 says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” Therefore, you do not have to approach life from a place of fear, uncertainty, or inadequacy. Whatever challenges lie ahead, you can face them with the confidence that there is victory in Christ Jesus.

First John 1:7 says, “But if we live in the light in the same way that God is in the light, we have a relationship with each other. And the blood of his Son Jesus cleanses us from every sin.” What does the expression “if we live in the light in the same way that God is in the light” mean? It means that God has taken a position in every situation you may face. Now, He says that you should take the same position that God has taken. Better still, if God has taken the position of a victor in a situation, you should take the same position of a victor in that situation.

Jesus demonstrated this way of living throughout His earthly ministry. He walked in complete fellowship with the Father, speaking His words and carrying out His instructions. In John 12:49–50, Jesus explained that He did not speak independently but declared what the Father had commanded Him to say. He also said in John 5:30, “By Myself, I can do nothing.” His life reveals the power of living in complete dependence on the Father. In other words, Jesus took the position of the Father in everything. For example, if God’s position on sickness is healing, then your position in that sickness should be healing.

Saint, being on the same page as God is not an option. It is required for your supernatural life. God asked Jeremiah, "What do you see?" Jeremiah replied, "I see the branch of an almond tree." Because Jeremiah saw what God was looking at, God said to him, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that My word is fulfilled." In other words, the moment Jeremiah stepped into God's position concerning that situation, God's miracle-working power was activated.

Beloved, this is the life God has called you to live. Align your words and actions with His Word, stand firmly on His side in every situation, and walk in the confidence of His power at work in you.

VICTORY IS YOURS IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

God bless you.
