THE WEAPON OF YOUR TESTIMONIES

“Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.” — 2 Peter 1:12
Your testimonies are among your greatest assets AGAINST FEAR. Your testimony is not just a story about your past; it is a reminder of God's power at work in your life. When you share it, you give others a reason to believe, hope, and trust God for themselves. Your testimony strengthens your faith and can become a source of encouragement to someone facing a similar challenge. Praise God!
Consider David. When he stood before King Saul and explained why he was qualified to face Goliath, he did not focus on his limitations. Instead, he recalled the victories God had given him while tending his father's sheep.
He said:
“Your servant used to keep his father's sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” (1 Samuel 17:34–36)
What a powerful response! David's confidence was strengthened by remembering what God had already helped him overcome. His past victories became a foundation for his present courage. To him, Goliath was not an unbeatable giant; he was another enemy who would fall before the power of the living God.
While the entire army of Israel trembled at the sight of Goliath, David remembered the lion and the bear. He was not intimidated by the size of the challenge because his confidence was in the greatness of his God.
So hear this “Never allow the challenge before you to erase the testimony behind you!
Let me ask you: How conscious are you of the victories and miracles God has brought into your life? Do you take time to remember His goodness? Do you remind yourself of the prayers He answered, the doors He opened, the protection He provided, and the difficult seasons He brought you through?
If you do, keep those testimonies alive in your heart. Bring them to remembrance whenever fear, discouragement, or doubt tries to take hold of you. Let them remind you that the God who helped you then is still faithful today.
God bless you.
FAITH-FILLED CONFESSION
I will never forget the goodness and faithfulness of God in my life. I remember His mighty works, and I declare His praise continually. My past victories strengthen my confidence for today's challenges. I refuse to be intimidated by circumstances because my trust is in the living God. I am strengthened in faith, established in His Word, and confident in His unfailing power. My testimony will encourage others and bring glory to His name. The God who has been faithful to me remains faithful forever. Hallelujah!
