YOU ARE AN ADVANTAGE TO THIS WORLD

“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, cast out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8

Child of God, it matters what you say about yourself, especially when you are upset, discouraged, or going through difficult circumstances. Never allow what you see around you to determine how you see yourself. Just because things appear a certain way does not mean you are disadvantaged.

If God does not see you as disadvantaged, you must never see yourself that way. No matter what you are facing, you are not disadvantaged. You are not merely a survivor; you are a victor! You are God's instrument for bringing change to your world. God has placed His life, power, and presence within you so that others can experience His goodness through you.

Can you see why you cannot lose? Your confidence is not in your circumstances but in the life of Christ within you. The Greater One lives in you!

When Jesus commissioned His disciples in Matthew 10:8, He sent them into a world filled with pain, sickness, oppression, and darkness to demonstrate the power of God's Kingdom. They were not sent to become part of the problem but to bring God's answers to people's needs.

This is how you must see yourself. You are an advantage to your family, workplace, community, and everyone whose life you come in contact with. You carry something the world needs: the very life of Christ!

You are an oasis in someone's desert, a source of encouragement to the discouraged, and a channel of God's love to those who need to experience it. Never underestimate what God can accomplish through your words, actions, prayers, and presence. You are planted in your family, workplace, and community for a purpose: to make a difference!

Jesus said, “As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21). You have been sent with a divine assignment. Therefore, don't go through life merely looking for what you can receive. Look for opportunities to give, serve, encourage, heal, restore, and demonstrate the love of Christ.

Child of God, you have everything it takes to make a difference because the Greater One lives in you. So arise and shine! You are God-sent, and your world needs what God has placed within you. Go and be the advantage God has made you to be!

God bless you
