THE SCHOOL OF PROPHETS: GOD'S SECRET

02/22/2023

"Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7)

There are three types of prophets. Those that were born prophets as in Jeremiah. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations" (Jeremiah 1:5). There are those that were called to be prophets as in Isaiah. "Also I [Isaiah] heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” Lastly, there are those who were made prophets by another prophet as in Elisha. "So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle on him" (1 Kings 19:19).

In Number 11, Moses had called a meeting of the seventy elders and two did not show up. The Bible says, "Then the LORD came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again. But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them. Now they were among those listed, but who had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp" (Numbers 11:25-26). Understand this, if you are connected to this ministry, irrespective of where you are, a grace to prophesy is now at your disposal.

Understand that prophecy is the bridge by which the supernatural leaps into everyday life. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 says, "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual." The Holy Spirit is now in your heart and mouth, and has been there since you got born again to procure you a glorious future. Romans 8:21 tells us about "the glorious liberty of the children of God," which the rest of creations cannot partake off until we have spoken them forth.

Today's theme scripture lets us know that we are the portal by which the supernatural leaps into the natural and this is why paying attention to the Spirit of God, moment by moment, for what He will say, what He will ask you to pray about and when will become increasingly all-important to maintain divine order in our spiritual jurisdictions. And another thing, the direction of the prophetic grace whether it is prophetic words about your family members, community or even a nation far away is a clear indication of areas where you have spiritual jurisdiction to pray and change or facilitate God's desires.

You are blessed

Faith-Filled Confession

God's secrets are revealed to me. And as God's vessel, I understand my role as an authenticator of God's will through prophecy. I pray things that should happen into being and I disallow things that shouldn't as well. I have been perfected for such a time as this so that many might enter into the glorious liberty that God has designated for His children. Hallelujah!
