THE MONTH OF WORSHIP
11/1/2026
But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way. John 4:23
There are countless benefits that come with worship, but true worship does not begin with the benefits we hope to receive. It begins with a heart of gratitude and thanksgiving.
Worship is not a transaction; it is an expression of honor to God for who He is and all He has done. It is our response to His goodness, grace, and generosity.
We worship Him not merely for what we can get from Him, but because He is worthy of all our praise. He has given us everything in Christ, not because we earned it or could repay Him, but because of His boundless love.
True worship begins with gratitude, is expressed through love, and is rooted in the revelation of who God is. We don't worship to get something; we worship because He is worthy of everything!
This brings us to what Jesus said to the Samaritan woman in John 4:22: "You worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews."
Jesus was highlighting an important distinction: you cannot truly worship someone you do not know. Worship must flow from a personal revelation and knowledge of God, not merely from religious tradition or outward expressions.
This is why Jesus went on to say in John 4:23–24 that the Father seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Child of God, you must come to know God for yourself. You cannot build genuine worship on borrowed convictions, religious routines, or what someone else has told you about Him. The more you know Him through His Word and the revelation of Jesus Christ, the more meaningful and genuine your worship becomes.
Otherwise, worship can easily become a religious exercise—singing without understanding, giving without gratitude, and performing religious activities without a genuine knowledge of the One being worshipped.
Don't just participate in worship; know the One you worship. When you know Him, gratitude becomes natural, praise becomes genuine, and worship becomes a heartfelt response to His love.
So, as we step into the month of November, there is a call to GENUINE WORSHIP. It is a call to move beyond religious routines, outward expressions, and worship motivated by what we hope to receive. It is a call to know God personally and respond to Him from a heart of love, gratitude, and reverence.
It is a call to answer the question Jesus raised in John 4:23: Are there true worshippers in this season who will worship the Father in spirit and in truth? The Father is still seeking such worshippers!
This month, let us go beyond simply singing songs and participating in religious activities. Let us become people whose worship flows from a genuine knowledge of God, whose hearts are established in His truth, and whose lives reflect His glory.
The call is to know Him, love Him, honor Him, and worship Him for who He is!
With this, I joyfully welcome you to THE MONTH OF WORSHIP!
May November be a season of deeper intimacy with God, genuine encounters, heartfelt gratitude, and a fresh expression of worship in our lives. In Jesus name.
Welcome to November family. Welcome to your Month of Worship!
Praise God!
FAITH-FILLED CONFESSION
I am a true worshipper, and my worship flows from a genuine revelation of who God is. My heart is devoted to Him, and my life is an expression of His goodness, grace, and love. I worship the Father in spirit and in truth, not merely with my lips but with a heart fully yielded to Him. I am not driven by what I can receive from God; I worship Him because He is worthy of all my praise. My gratitude is unwavering, my love for Him grows daily, and my knowledge of Him increases through His Word. My life brings Him pleasure, my lips continually declare His praise, and my worship is genuine and acceptable to Him. This month, I experience deeper intimacy with the Father, greater revelation of His person, and a fresh expression of His glory in my life. I am a worshipper, and my life is an offering of worship to God. In Jesus' Name. Amen!
