THE MONTH OF RESTORATION

12/1/2024

"For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established—" (Romans 1:9-11)

Welcome to December, our Month of Restoration. And very uniquely, restoration will take place in many aspects of your life, family and ministry, this month, as if to bring you up to speed with God's timetable for you.  So, let me warn you in advance, the month will feel rushed with so many movements of grace. Your duty is to maintain the heart posture of a receiver and not let in any malice or anger. If at any time during this month you feel someone has treated you badly, do not complain. The Bible says, pray.  James 5:13 says, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms."

Here's why. This restoration that the Lord has determined for you this month is an establishment that is imparted. And the operation of this impartation would flow like a river from one aspect of your life to the other, so be sensitive to emotional triggers. For example, maybe you experience a restoration of a relationship or a restoration in your finances, understand that it is only a start and an indication something greater that the Lord wants to do for you specifically, and so, you've got to be open to the Lord's move in your life this month by getting rid of offence.

Remember the man that the Lord Jesus laid hands and spat on his eyes, and what he said. "And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” (Mark 8:24). The Bible says, "Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly" )Mark 8:25). This month there will be a restoration of clarity of purpose, in particular, alongside other things. Gifts that lay dormant in you for a while will suddenly start to show expression again.

And here is why this message holds a lot of significance, this restoration or establishment by the Holy Spirit  and its capacity to smear every aspect of your life, like oil,  could be lost without paying attention to your interpersonal relationships . Avoid malice, complaining , disputes, gossip and every other thing that discourages His grace of restoration from pervading the areas of your life where you need it. Colossians 3:8 says, "But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth."

Lastly, things that do not have a part to play in your life in the coming year will dematerialize this month. Some of these could be gift items like socks or even relationships. Don't go searching or crying to keep the things or people that I have taken away, the Lord says.

This month, you will see the glory of God as never yet seen. So let your heart be on pleasing the Lord, particularly with your words, and expect all kinds of spiritual manifestations to the end that you may be established in the Lord Christ.

God bless you.

Faith-Filled Confession'

This is my Month of Restoration and as the Lord wills, I am renewed and established. I bring glory to the Lord in every aspect of my life as I discipline my tongue and bring to pass His plan for me in this blessed new month.
