“As it is written: ‘I have made you a father of many nations.’ He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.”
(Romans 4:17)
It is often said, “If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.” This is especially true in a world filled with counterfeits—many of which closely resemble the real thing. Counterfeits are not always obvious; they often look convincing. That is why the Word of God is essential. The Word exposes deception and reveals truth. Hebrews 4:12–13 reminds us that the Word of God is living, active, and able to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.
God has spoken definite things concerning your life—your family, finances, calling, and future—just as He spoke to Abraham, saying, “I have made you a father of many nations.” The question is: Do you know what God has said about you? Or have you unknowingly settled for a counterfeit?
Your confessions reveal the answer. You cannot consistently speak contrary to what you believe. Faith speaks in agreement with God’s Word, not with feelings or circumstances. Scripture says, “I believed; therefore I have spoken” (2 Corinthians 4:13).
Abraham understood this. Though circumstances contradicted God’s promise, he did not waver. He rejected the contradictions and declared what God had said, calling himself Abraham—father of many nations. His confession silenced unbelief and ushered him into the reality of God’s promise.
So I ask you again: Do you know what has been written concerning your life? The days of barely getting by are over. Jesus did not die for you to live an average life. It’s time to speak what you believe and declare what God has said.
God bless you.
Faith-Filled Confession
I am positioned for victory and success. I triumph over sickness, lack, and failure. The Lord is my Shepherd; I lack nothing. I am fully equipped to be a blessing and a conduit of God’s prosperity and grace, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
