SPEAK IN TONGUES

"For one who speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to people but to God; for no one understands him or catches his meaning, but by the Spirit he speaks mysteries [secret truths, hidden things]" (1 Corinthians 14:2).

The controversy on the subject of praying in tongues is manufactured by Satan to weaken the body of Christ. For those of us who have tasted the power of speaking in tongues will tell you one thing, it's a miraculous ecstasy, a booster for victorious living. Come to think of it, why would anyone go a day without speaking in tongues? 

Child of God, we are not ordinary physical beings; no, we are not. Do not confuse our outward physical attributes to mean we are just like everybody else. When Jesus walked this earth, He looked just like everyone else, but He was God in the flesh. Same with us, we may look and speak the same English, French, German, or Korean but we are spirit beings anointed by God to execute His agenda on earth. We are not here to simply observe and cheer for the movers and shakers. God has anointed us to legislate and executive His agenda and deny the forces of darkness their operation in our environment. Satan knows this, so he is afraid of us because he knows what we are capable of. He knows that we can shake and shift things in the spirit realm like Jesus did. He particularly knows what we can achieve when we pray in tongues. As mentioned earlier, the controversy is simply to cast doubt and downplay the efficacy of speaking in tongues.

Listen, praying in tongues is not a denominational idea; it is God's will for His church. It is His weapon for effectiveness and productivity. It is your power generator. It is how you express God's glory and grace and hinder Satan's operation on the earth. Praying in tongues empowers you, and when you are empowered, you are a threat to the kingdom of darkness. 

God is calling us to pray in tongues like never before. So don't stop with "shaka, shaka." Linger and watch God take you to new realms and give you more tongues. I heard the testimony of a gentleman that had a medical condition called azoospermia. He went to his pastor after receiving the news, and by the Spirit, the pastor instructed him to pray in tongues for hours. As he did this, he received his healing, and his wife conceived. Glory! By praying in tongues this young man was able to reverse the decree of hell and execute God's agenda for his life and was able to make babies.

Faith-Filled Confession:

My spirit is alive to God, and as I pray, I engage my spirit, and the Spirit of God Himself prays through me. Today, I stir up the gift of God that is within me by praying in the Holy Ghost. And as I do, I am built up on my most holy faith; I rise like an edifice. I make progress in all things. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer Point for Today

2 Thessalonians 2:3 AMPC says, "Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the [a]apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition)."

Pray for our pastors, partners, and residents, that more than ever they will stay focused on Christ and the things of the kingdom, and they would not be distracted by the transient pleasures of this world. 

Declare that our pastors, partners, and residents, are established in Christ, deeply rooted and founded in Him. They remain steadfast, unmoveable, doing the work of the Lord with joy.
