"I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You" (Job 42:5).
One of the ways to see Jesus is through your ears. Make no mistakes about it as a believer; you have the infrastructure to see Jesus. In Luke 8:10, the Master says, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that 'Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.'" In other words, to those who are not born again, there is a veil that prevents them from hearing or seeing precisely what they should see when they encounter the Word of God, but not you.
John 1:14 tells us that the implicit nature of the Word is that it becomes flesh. What do you mean when you say the Word becomes flesh in this instance? You may ask. I mean, the Word that God has spoken to you about your health, prosperity, and destiny; that Word He gave you about this year when He said it was the Year of the God-kind. His Word has one mission: to materialize whatever it talks about. The Bible says, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
So, what does it mean to behold the glory of the Lord? To behold the glory is to become the glory. 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 is very instructive of beholding the glory. It says, "Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." This means that irrespective of what you might be confronted with right now, if you turn to behold the glory of the Lord, you will become the glory that you see.
Behold, I show you a mystery. "And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, "Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?" Elisha said, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me." So he said, "You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so" (2 Kings 2:9-10). Elijah was a representation of Jesus, while Elisha was a representation of you, the one to whom God is his or her salvation.
While we will delve deeper into the ways of seeing Jesus, one of the ways to see Him is to flood your ears with teachings from your Pastor. In Jeremiah 3:15, the Lord says, "And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding." His shepherd over you is in complete alignment with His heart, and as you make up your mind to listen over and over to the teachings on any particular subject, the image of Jesus will begin to form in that aspect of your life such that what the Word says will be your exact experience.
Have a great day.
