"He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation." (Colossians 1:15)
If Jesus is the manifestation of the invisible God, who created every conceivable thing, what outcome can you not, with Him, manifest in this world? Pause for a second and let this soak. Jesus is God come in physical flesh. John 1:14 says, "And the Word [which is God] became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
There is nothing that you cannot manifest in your life if you know the Person and Name of Jesus. Mark 9:23 says, "Jesus said... "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." But who is He that believes? In a few devotionals back, we unveiled from scripture the truth that "BELIEVING IS MEDITATION." The one who believes is the same who meditates.
Why all this emphasis on meditation, someone might ask. 1 Corinthians 1:27-28 says, "But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are." God has chosen ridiculous things like meditation, speaking in tongues, and making faith confessions to bring an end to the adverse situations and circumstances that may confront you.
The way this works is that you plant a seed of the word in your heart until it germinates and becomes a mighty harvest. "And He said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come" (Mark 4:26-29). We know that the seed is the Word of God (according to Luke 8:11), and the ground is your heart (according to Luke 8:15).
Manifesting the super life of Jesus is your mandate like it was Jesus' mandate to manifest the Father to the world. Hear me, there is a part of your going into the world to preach the gospel that requires demonstrating wonder. It is only when you manifest wonder that "The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising" (Isaiah 60:3). And by wonder, I mean miracles.
John 2:11 says, "This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him." Jesus was the firstborn that we should follow in His steps. Jesus says in John 14:12; "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."
Who is he/she that believes? The one who meditates on the Word of God until the glory is manifested. At this time in the year, you should have a dedicated book or notepad with scriptures that you have personalized, that you are meditating upon and confessing, morning and evening, about the miracles that you are manifesting.
Win greatly today. It is your year to do wonders in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Faith-Filled Confession
I am the one who believes as the scriptures say. Therefore, I have the life of God. All things are possible to me. I do the works that Jesus did when He was on the earth, and greater works than He did, I do in my dispensation, because He is with the Father. Glory is the story of my life.
