God Needs You Now

6/8/2025

“God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him” (1 Corinthians 1:28-29).

I have often said that no one is dispensable in the eyes of grace. Before grace, we are esteemed, treasured, and endowed with special abilities to do the impossible. It doesn’t matter anymore whether or not others see the anointing on you; it has no influence on the functionality of the anointing. It’s high time we stopped thinking of ourselves as ordinary. It does the kingdom no good to maintain such mindset. Jesus emphatically said that we have been anointed to do greater miracles; so why aren’t we doing those things which we have been anointed to do? I asked myself the same question for many years until I made the resolve to do that which I was anointed for; it no longer mattered what others thought or did, or whether or not they were walking in their purpose for being. You can focus on what “we” should be doing for so long that you stop seeing yourself as part of the “we.” So instead of asking why the body of Christ wasn’t moving in the Spirit like Jesus did, I decided to walk in the call of God on my life. And I believe that you should do the same. Because if we as individuals give everything to see the anointing touch lives in greater dimensions, we will have fewer people asking to see the power and the glory of God.

Make no mistake; praying for God to send down His power and glory is an exercise in futility. I remember being in a church gathering when I suddenly started hearing, “Oh, God release your power, we want to see your glory.” Before you knew what was happening, everyone started crying, “Oh, God release your power, we want to see your glory.” It was very emotional. Did God show or release His power and glory? No! He didn’t because He was done doing that. He has no more glory or power to send down from Heaven; He already gave us all that He has. Ephesians 3:20 says “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” God knew that the world would need to see His power and glory, and for that reason, He sent the Holy Ghost to live on the inside of you. So if the world around you is not experiencing the power and the glory of God, it’s because you are not doing what you have been anointed to do. God has done His part; it is now your turn to do your part. And that part is to arise to your call. Isaiah 60:1 says "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” So arise when you feel it; arise when you don’t feel it. Arise because the power and the glory of God are in you and upon you.

John 15:16 says “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit--fruit that will last--and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” In other words, you are God’s choice. And If He chose you, it is because He needs you. I believe that you are needed, more than ever before, to rise up to the grace and anointing on your life. I believe that God needs you to light up your family with love and grace. I believe God needs you to speak up in His name. I believe God needs you to lay hands on the sick and cast out devils. I believe the world around you needs you to stand out from the crowd.

Saints, God needs you today.

God Bless You!

Faith Filled Confession:

I embrace God’s will and purpose for my life and I walk in the path which He has set before me. I refuse to be intimidated by the success or failure of others. I refuse to be held back by my past mistakes. I am encouraged by the Word of God and strengthened as I spring forth to the next level, in Jesus name. Amen.
