GOD AND YOU

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new...[for]...God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:17,19).
The number one commonality we share with the Father is that we are both in Christ. The Bible says that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself as an indication of what we, who are in Christ, ought to be about.
Hear me, there are no folded hands in Christ. The Bible says, "Woe to you who are at ease in Zion, And trust in Mount Samaria..." (Amos 6:1). And this is indicative of the believer who is very willing to attend church services but unwilling to reach out by way of "ground troop, assault-style" evangelism. Those who trust in Mount Samaria (in the context of Amos 6:1) are pious but uninterested in the salvation of others.
Obadiah 1:21 says, "Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion To judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom shall be the LORD’s," to imply that Zion is a place of reconcilers. We are called to reconcile others to God and one of the ways we can do this is by sharing the gospel with and inviting others to church meetings.
The Christian is like one who is looking for a spouse for a sibling. Our job is to court others with our stewardship of everything; our talents, character, speech, skills, and even finances on behalf of our Lord Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:20, "Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God."
But it is not a solo run. God is with us in Christ ready to confirm our testimony with signs and wonders. The issue is do you believe He is with you? And when I ask this, I am actually asking if you have meditated on this truth that God is with you. He says, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20)
If you let this truth soak, it would be impossible to contain your work of reconciling others to the Lord.
Have a fantastic day!
Faith-Filled Confession
I am a reaper of souls with God. He is with me. And in the Name of Jesus, I cast out demons, I speak with new tongues, I take up serpents, if perchance, I drink anything deadly, it is harmless to me. And whenever I lay my hands on the sick, immediately, the sick recover as evidence of the reconciliation of God. Hallelujah!
