"You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 2:1)
When God tells you something to do for Him, a certain grace accompanies His instruction. At that moment, an allotment of time and resources is given for you to execute and complete the task. It might be that the Lord has asked you to talk to a person about Jesus or give an offering that is outside your level of comfort. As long as God has given the word, your job is to act on it within the confines of the allotted time and resources.
Hear me, at such a point, the last thing you want to consider is whether the instruction is convenient or not. Convenience is immaterial because our God knows the end of a matter before it has even begun and would rather you trust Him and take the leap on His word.
Understand that you must be bold to act within the lifespan of that instruction. Maybe you heard something during the fast, but no timeline was given, and you are wondering, "Pastor, is it for now or later?" Hear the word of the Lord, "In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
Don't just make plans to start; look for the place where you wrote down the word, meditate on the Lord's instructions, and let grace leap into your heart to move you in His timing. One of the very pivotal aspects of this year is the nullification of logic. Many things you hear would not be logically sound. Still, let your words be like Peter, who said, "...nevertheless at Your word I will..." (Luke 5:5)
Be blessed today, in Jesus' name. Amen
Faith-Filled Confession
God has not given me a timid spirit but a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. I am piloted by His instructions, so much so that my progress is undeniable and boggling to human comprehension. In Jesus' name. Amen.
