YOUR VISION IS EVERYTHING

12/30/2025

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland" (Isaiah 43:18-19).

Your vision is everything—win or lose. The Scriptures tell us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” For many, the root cause of failure in life is not the devil but a lack of vision. Vision is the ability to see beyond what your physical senses can perceive. Because of this limitation, many struggle and fail—they insist on seeing everything first with their natural eyes before they believe.

One such person was Thomas, one of Jesus’ disciples. When the others testified that they had seen the risen Lord, Thomas replied, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” In essence, Thomas had resolved that if he could not see or touch Jesus physically, then it could not be real.

Child of God, what you see matters—but even more important is how you see what you see.

Second Corinthians 5:17 describes the reality of our spiritual rebirth: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” From God’s perspective, the old truly has passed away. The challenge for many believers, however, is not what God has done, but seeing what He has done. Yesterday I shared that there is nothing outside of you powerful enough to stop you. But the question is—do you see that? No devil, circumstance, or opposition can hinder God’s purpose for your life without your cooperation. Your vision is your only limitation.

As we stand at the threshold of a new season, God is sharpening our spiritual sight. He is saying, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:18–19). God is calling you to look away from past failures and even past successes. He is inviting you to align yourself with His present Word and purpose. Do not allow yesterday’s disappointments—or yesterday’s victories—to anchor you in indifference and rob you of tomorrow.

God is saying, “See what I am doing now.”Align yourself with My Word, for I have caused all things to work together for your good. Hallelujah!

David understood this truth when he said, “By Your words I can see where I’m going; they throw a beam of light on my dark path”(Psalm 119:105 MSG). David refused to navigate life by yesterday’s light. He chose to journey with God through His Word, and that same call is upon us today.

Have you sought the face of God concerning the season ahead? What has He said to you? His Word is your compass. From the Word, I see a healthy you, a strong you, a joyful you, a victorious you—blessed on every side and more than a conqueror. But what do you see? When you look into God’s Word, you will see the same, along with specific instructions for every area of your life as you fellowship with Him in prayer and meditation.

God bless you.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am the outshining of the glory of God—the expression of His divine essence. I am victorious over hell, Satan, and death. My life moves from glory to glory. The Lord surrounds me with increase, favor, and goodness on every side. My past testifies of God’s grace, and my future reveals even greater glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
