"When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad" (Psalm 126:1-3).
Jesus didn’t die so we can feel good. John 10:10 says “The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” So don’t judge the move of God by the way you feel. In Genesis 26, God gave Isaac a word that didn’t feel good and was contrary to the counsel of financial experts. You may as well say “It didn’t add up”. Knowing this, Isaac could have moved out of town like others. But instead of doing so, he positioned himself rightly through obedience. Amid the worst recession of his day, He sowed as instructed by the Holy Ghost. And the result was a hundredfold harvest in the same year. And the man became rich and gained more and more until he became very wealthy. Imagine if Isaac had waited to feel good about the instruction he received before carrying it out. He likely would have died in his situation or moved to Egypt like everyone else and missed out on God's greatest plan or move on the earth.
Saints, when God speaks to you, don't expect it to feel good or make sense. There will be instances when the word given does not create an immediate physical impact. For example, if God says you are healed, don't wait to feel well before declaring that you are healed. Instead of looking to the physical to validate God's Word, align your confession with what you have heard. This will be important for you, especially this month. Paul said to Timothy, "Timothy, my child, I entrust to you this command, which is in accordance with the words of prophecy spoken in the past about you. Use those words as weapons in order to fight well" (1 Timothy 1:18 GNT) In other words, with prophecy you can silence every contrary voice, and annihilate their ability to influence the circumstances of your life. Because when you declare prophetic words, the adversary is dumbfounded, and you set in motion in the earth what God has established in Heaven.
Saints, here is what I want you to do. Look at the mirror if and when you can and declare out loud “I testify of the wonders of God in my life this month”. After you have declared that, ignore anything that says it will not happen. Better still, no matter what comes your way, respond by laughing in the Holy Ghost. And declare that your testimony is sure thing. Bear in mind also that the enemy will use everything at his disposal to distract you from affirming that you have a thunderous testimony, but he will not succeed. In Jesus name!
So, when it feel like it’s not adding up or making sense, declare what God said. When it doesn’t make sense, declare again that you have a thunderous testimony.
I see you testifying again and again. Say Amen!
Be blessed!
Faith-Filled Confession:
My ears are inclined to hear God's voice today, and my heart is positioned to obey. As I obey, I see the Word manifest in all that concerns me, in Jesus' name, Amen.
