“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”—James 1:25
God’s Word is more than just information—it’s a mirror that reveals your true identity in Christ. When you find yourself in it and live according to what God says about you, you step into a life of constant victory and peace. Look at this powerful truth:“But thanks be to God, who always puts us on display in Christ and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.” —2 Corinthians 2:14
This is no ordinary description. God is showcasing you as evidence of Christ’s resurrection. You are heaven’s exhibit—proof of redemption. He’s telling the world: “This is what My grace produces.” That’s worth meditating on!
Why, then, would anyone who has this kind of identity say, “I’m frustrated,” or “I’m miserable”? Frustration doesn’t belong to you. You are not subject to the world’s chaos—you’re born of the Word. Jesus made this clear:“Be of good cheer... I have overcome the world.” —John 16:33
That means everything that could frustrate or defeat you has already been overcome. Don’t let your feelings or present conditions speak louder than the truth of God’s Word. It is settled. It is final.
Joseph said it best in Genesis 50:20:“You meant evil against me, but God turned it into good.”The same is true for you—no matter what comes against you, God has the final word, and it’s working for your good.
So don’t contract the Word hoping for pity or help. Don’t dilute your confession to match your emotions. Faith doesn’t wait to see before it believes. Speak what God says, no matter how you feel.
The Word is your reality. Let it shape your thoughts, emotions, and actions. As you keep your eyes on it, you’ll begin to frustrate the things that once frustrated you.
Faith-Filled Confession:
I fix my gaze on the Word of God. I am not ruled by frustration or fear. I see myself through God’s eyes—blessed, victorious, and full of purpose. The Greater One lives in me. All things are working together for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer Point
Colossians 4:2-4 says, ”Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak”. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: ”And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God”.
1. Pray for minister that new doors of opportunity for ministry be opened to them, and utterance be granted them to proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ unhindered, without fear or reproach, but in power and effectiveness.
2. Pray for ministers who are facing severe persecutions, especially from family that they be strengthened to stand firm in all the will of God.
3. Pray for servants—pastors, leaders, and ministers—who are under attack from within the very congregations they serve. There are active plots, misunderstandings, and false accusations, and schemes of the enemy working through division and strife to displace these ministers.
