LIVING BEYOND SELF

3/18/2026

“No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.” — 1 Corinthians 10:24

The Kingdom of God calls us to a higher way of living—one that goes beyond self-centeredness. In a world that constantly tells us to look out for ourselves first, this scripture challenges us to shift our focus toward others.

Living for Christ means we no longer make decisions based solely on personal gain or comfort. Instead, we consider how our actions affect those around us. We seek opportunities to uplift, encourage, and be a blessing to others.

This kind of life reflects the love of Christ. Jesus consistently put others first—He fed the hungry, healed the broken, and gave His life for humanity. His example shows us that true fulfillment is found not in taking, but in giving.

When we seek the good of others, we align ourselves with God’s heart. We become instruments through which His love flows. Whether through kind words, generous actions, or simple acts of service, our lives begin to impact others in meaningful ways.

Today, choose to look beyond yourself. Ask God to show you how you can be a blessing to someone else.

Faith-Filled Confession:

I do not live for myself alone. I seek the good of others and walk in love. My life is a channel of God’s blessing, and through me, lives are uplifted and encouraged. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
