THE MONTH OF GRATITUDE

12/1/2025

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

As a child of God, the ordinary life is not for you. Living in lack, pain, or despair contradicts who you are in Christ. Nothing—whether external or internal—should keep you defeated. The moment you make up your mind that these contradictions are over, they truly come to an end.

You may wonder, “How can it happen so fast?” Child of God, the glorious life in Christ is not a promise—it is your present reality. From the day you gave your heart to Jesus, you stepped into that glorious life. There is nothing extra or extraordinary you need to do. Simply declare:

“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I am born again; therefore, I refuse to live another day with anything that contradicts God’s will for my life.”

And it shall be so. Hallelujah!

Romans 5:17 declares, “For if because of one man’s trespass death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive God’s overflowing grace and the free gift of righteousness reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ.”

Notice this powerful truth: those who are born again are ordained toreign as kings in this life—not later in heaven, but here and now. We have been anointed to reign over devils, over systems, and over circumstances.

Why, then, is this not the norm among believers today? There are many reasons, but one stands out: many Christians lack understanding on how to appropriate God’s grace.

That is why the Lord has declared December as the month of Gratitude. There is a new level of grace—fresh, elevated, and powerful—that is only accessed through gratitude. Not casual gratitude, but gratitude inspired and ignited by the Word. Gratitude expressed intentionally and audibly.

So take action this month:

  • Write down the names of those God has used to bring you to where you are today. Reach out and express your gratitude in the way the Spirit leads.

  • List the miracles God has performed in your life this year, and dedicate each day to thanking Him for them.

  • Rejoice daily.

This month, appreciate those God has used to bless you. Let them know how God has blessed you through them. Go out of your way to express love, value, and honor.

It is your Month of Gratitude.

Faith-Filled Confession:

Thank You, Father, for the reality of Your Word in my life. I thank You not only for what You have done but for who You are. Thank You for every situation I have faced this year. No matter how challenging they were, Your Word proved true. Today, with a grateful heart, I say: THANK YOU, LORD!
