PRAYING THE WORD IS THE KEY

"And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint" (Luke 18:1).
I am yet to see a Christian that does not love prayer. We all love prayer, but what we really love about prayer is the effect of it. We all know that prayer can move mountains, but when we call for prayer, in most cases, only very few respond. Jesus said, "... men ought always to pray, and not to faint." Prayer is a necessity in exercising the God-life. It is the spinal cord of your relationship with your Heavenly Father.
Imagine being in a relationship with someone with whom you do not communicate, and whenever you do communicate, it's in a bid to get something from them. This is what many have reduced prayer to. They only pray when they want God to do something, not knowing that such an attitude is responsible for the lack of answers to their prayers. Prayer was never designed to get God to do anything about any situation. It is the effect of prayer or fellowship with Him that gets things going in the right direction.
God does not want to hear from you only when you see trouble coming and you are nowhere to be found when it's gone. His will is that you remain in a place of constant renewal by the Holy Ghost. This is what constant fellowship in prayer does. It keeps you tuned up, builds you up, and empowers you to walk in the dominion of the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).
When it comes to prayer, the emphasis is on praying the Word and not simply talking, because anybody can just talk. The key to an effective and consistent prayer life that tunes you up spiritually is the Word. In Hosea 14:2, the Spirit of God said through the prophet, "...take with you words..." He was pretty much saying, "Bring the divine Word of God that is revealed to your spirit with you." There is nothing that delights the Father's heart and stirs or tunes you up for victory and excellence like speaking forth the Word in fellowship with Him.
Remember that Papa God is a faith God, which means that everything He does is according to His Word. He doesn't see anything outside of His Word. His Word is His limit, and His Word is limitless! Praise God! Hallelujah!
Imagine starting your day with a prayer like this: "Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, I thank You that I have divine ability at work in me. I do not make haste, I am conscious of my divinity today. I function with this consciousness that I have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I live an excellent life, full of the demonstration of the Spirit. Hallelujah!" Such a prayer will tune your spirit up for victory and prosperity in no time. Contrast that with starting your day with a prayer like this: "O Lord, give me peace and joy and help me because my life is full of ups and downs." I can assure you that the latter prayer would not only tune down your spirit but will also set you on a course of faithlessness and unbelief because it's not according to God's Word.
Brothers and sisters, let's get into the Word today with excitement, knowing that no word from God is void of power (Luke 1:37). And let's begin the most glorious part of our day - Our communion with the Holy Spirit.
You are blessed.
Faith-Filled Confession:
Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, I thank You that I have divine ability at work in me. I function with the consciousness that I have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I live an excellent life; full of the demonstration of the Spirit. And I bless my world today with the presence of God. Hallelujah!"
