"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual" (1 Corinthians 2:12-13).
In the technology that is prayer, there are two vocal requirements that help you to be efficient and hit your intended target every time. The Bible says, "See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:15-16). The import of this portion of scripture is that we ought to be efficient with our handling of the Word of God so that we are in God's timing, every time, and never behind.
However, specific steps must be followed to manifest or experience the things you desire in the natural realm. Prior to praying about any matter, select scriptures that are relevant to the subjects you wish to discuss with the Lord and engage in meditation. Joshua 1:8 says, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." The word for meditate here in the root Hebrew text can also be translated as the word, "mutter." For instance, if you are expecting a child and you wish to pray for safe delivery at full term, you can take out 1 Timothy 2:15 (which states, "Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control") and begin to repeatedly mutter this verse under your breath.
After meditating on that verse, the next thing you do is speak in tongues following Jesus' outline in Matthew 6:9: "...after this manner, therefore pray..." You acknowledge the Father, make your request for safe delivery based on the will of God in heaven, as revealed in 1 Timothy 2:15, and then, you pray, glorifying and thanking Him concerning the process. Typically, during this second part, if you have prayed long enough, you will begin to detect an easing of the prayer burden in your heart. This easing may come as a song, a knowing, or jolts of joy. This is known in many circles as the "note of victory."
From this point, don't stop. Rather, begin to confess the Word in consent with the Lord, knowing that you are confessing or prophecying the Word of God according to the will of God.
This year, take a few minutes before your prayer time to prepare your spirit through meditation on the Word of God. And don't stop until confessions or prophecies are released into the atmosphere around you.
Have an excellent day!
Faith-Filled Confession
I walk circumspectly, redeeming the time. I sharpen my praying efficacy by meditating ahead, and I pray until confessions of the Spirit burst forth from my heart. Hallelujah!
