LORD OVER EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE

07/29/2024

"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord" (2 Peter 1:2).

Psalm 23:3 declares, "[God] restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake." This means that God is more invested in your success than you are. When I realized this, my struggles ended. I understood that God takes pleasure in my growth, health, prosperity, and well-being. Psalm 35:27 says, "Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant." Hallelujah!

Jesus reassured His disciples, "Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32). He encouraged them to refuse fear and not let worldly troubles define their success. Instead, He urged them to focus on the kingdom that belongs to them, seeing beyond the physical and anchoring their hearts on eternal truths. Today, God calls us to this same awareness. As His children, we must embrace this consciousness to master darkness.

Jesus exemplified mastery over darkness and adversity. He wasn't troubled by financial issues or inadequate food supplies. He dominated every challenge with His Word. He told His disciples, "...but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]" (John 16:33 AMP).

Romans 5:17 states, "For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." The Weymouth New Testament adds, "...those who receive God's overflowing grace and gift of righteousness reign as kings in life through the one individual, Jesus Christ." Revelation 1:6 confirms that we are kings. These scriptures reveal that we are anointed to reign over hell, death, and the world. Our reign depends on how well we embrace the abundance of grace in Christ.

The word "receive" in Romans 5:17 is the Greek word lambanó, meaning to take hold of something with the intent of not letting go. We no longer need to pray for more grace because we already have an abundance of it in Christ. We take hold of it through our confessions. By declaring, "I am enabled to produce excellence and success in all that I do," we take hold of grace. When we say, "I have victory over darkness and this world," God's grace aligns our circumstances with the reality of Christ's victory. Jesus said, "...I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]" (John 16:33 AMP).

Dedicate yourself to knowing God and Jesus, and you will see favor and prosperity increase in your life. Spend time studying and meditating on the Word of God. Remember, you create realities with faith-filled words.

God bless you!

Faith-Filled Confession:

I reject any image of defeat, hopelessness, sickness, lack, oppression, disappointment, or darkness. My life is not susceptible to failure. I am the manifestation of God's beauty, and my life reflects all that I am in Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer Direction:

  • Thank God for His provision, protection, mercies, and goodness in your life and your family this month.

  • Pray for those entertaining suicidal thoughts, declaring that God’s love prevails in their lives.

  • Pray and declare that your family is positioned for undeniable testimonies and promotions.
