LET PEACE RULE

3/21/2026

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” — Colossians 3:15

God never intended for your heart to be ruled by anxiety, fear, or confusion. Instead, He has given you the peace of Christ—a divine peace that is not dependent on circumstances but anchored in His presence.

The word “rule” in this verse means to act as an umpire—to decide what stays and what goes. This means the peace of Christ should be the deciding factor in your heart. If something disturbs your peace, it’s a signal to pause, pray, and realign with God.

Peace is not passive; it is powerful. It guards your heart, directs your decisions, and keeps you steady even in uncertain times. When you allow God’s peace to rule, you are choosing to trust Him over your feelings and circumstances.

This verse also connects peace with thankfulness. A grateful heart helps maintain peace. When you focus on what God has done instead of what is lacking, your heart becomes settled and assured of His faithfulness.

Today, choose to let the peace of Christ rule in your heart. Reject anxiety and embrace the calm assurance that God is in control.

Faith-Filled Confession:

The peace of Christ rules in my heart. I refuse anxiety, fear, and confusion. I walk in divine peace and thanksgiving. My heart is steady because I trust in God, and His peace guides me in all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
