“The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.”— Matthew 11:5 (NIV)
Do you realize that the same price Jesus paid for your salvation is the same price He paid for your healing? Healing isn’t a separate miracle requiring extraordinary faith—it is already included in your redemption. In fact, if you were to place healing and forgiveness of sins on a scale, forgiveness would weigh more! Yet many find it easier to believe in the forgiveness of sins than in healing for the body.
Let’s consider Mark 2, where a paralyzed man was lowered through the roof to meet Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” The religious leaders were shocked. “Who can forgive sins but God?” they muttered. Then Jesus made a profound statement:
“Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’?” In Jesus’ eyes, healing the man’s body was the easier part! He was showing us that if you can believe you’re forgiven, you can believe you’re healed—because both came through the same sacrifice.
Let me ask you: What did you do to receive salvation?
You believed in your heart and confessed Jesus as Lord, according to Romans 10:9. That’s it. No striving, no rituals, no extra effort. And healing follows that same pattern. The difference between walking in divine health and struggling with sickness is revelational knowledge of the Word—not mental agreement, but a deep understanding ignited by the Spirit within.
Sickness is not from God. It is not His correction tool. It is satanic oppression.
Acts 10:38 declares: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil.”And again in Luke 13:16, Jesus said, “Should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen years, be set free?”
Over and over, scripture proves this truth: sickness is of the devil, and healing is the will of God.
Matthew 8:17 says, “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”
Why? Because the Father's will is divine health. He wants you well—completely, continually, and effortlessly. 3 John 1:2 makes it plain: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” Jesus already bore every sickness and disease, past, present, and future. So why do some believers still experience symptoms? Because satan tries to put sickness on you—but he cannot put it in you. It is your responsibility to reject it in the name of Jesus.
That’s why testimonies matter. They aren't just praise reports—they're spiritual transactions. When you testify, you lay hold of your healing and activate divine health. So testify! Speak to your body. Don’t wait for symptoms to show up—confess the Word daily. Declare that your heart, lungs, kidneys, bones, skin, and every system in your body functions perfectly. Speak life over your body! Speak life over your blood! Speak what God has already said.
The Word is working in you. Healing is yours. Refuse sickness. Testify boldly. Hallelujah!
Faith-Filled Confession
I walk in perfect health and divine vitality. I refuse sickness and disease in my body. I speak healing and restoration to every part of me—my heart, lungs, blood, bones, skin, and organs. I declare that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, not a dwelling place for infirmity. The works of the devil concerning my health are paralyzed. I live strong, healed, and whole—from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
