FAITH IS EVERYTHING

12/17/2025

“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer”

(Matthew 21:22 NIV)

An attitude of faith is essential to living in the victory Christ has secured for us. Faith determines whether we rise or fall, overcome or give in, remain strong or grow weary. To live victoriously, your mindset must be rooted in God’s Word and in what Jesus has already accomplished on your behalf. When faith governs your heart, the fruit of the recreated human spirit becomes evident in your life (Galatians 5:22–23).

Abraham exemplified this attitude of faith. Romans 4:18 tells us that when there was nothing left to hope for naturally, Abraham still hoped and believed. He refused to allow facts to override God’s Word. To him, circumstances were temporary, but God’s Word was eternal. Scripture says he did not consider his situation; instead, he stayed focused on the promise. He did not stagger through unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God.

This brings us to an important question: what is your mind set on? Is it God’s Word concerning your health, family, finances, calling, and future—or is it the surrounding circumstances? When your mind is fixed on the Word, your mouth will naturally align with it, and your life will reflect it.

Child of God, you were not saved to blend in with the world. You are chosen, royal, and set apart to display the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). So let the Word dominate your thoughts. Maintain an attitude of faith that prays and praises even in adversity. Pray believing that you receive—and you shall have it. This bold confidence in prayer is the attitude of faith.

God bless you.
