"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing" (Genesis 12:2).
The blessing becomes evident when you operate in faith, specifically, faith in God's Word. The blessing won't manifest if you gauge its effectiveness solely based on material possessions. For example, acquiring a new house does not necessarily indicate being blessed. The true evidence of being blessed is in adhering to God's Word. Without this, your life experiences will be void of the manifestation of God's Word.
I recall someone questioning, "If I'm blessed, why are things difficult?" Regrettably, many believers share this perspective. Understand, saint, your circumstances don't authenticate God's Word. The Word stands independent of situations; it requires no validation from anyone or anything. This is because the Word is God—the Creator of all things and beings, and He needs no external validation. Despite current difficulties, your status as the blessed of the Lord remains unchanged. However, doubting the effectiveness of the Word due to personal experiences indicates a lack of faith in the Word.
In Psalm 37:25, David expressed a profound observation, stating, "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread." His statement emphasizes God's unwavering faithfulness to the righteous, transcending their individual experiences.
Saints, trust in God's faithfulness. If the Word declares that you are blessed, resist the urge to rationalize it. Identify and affirm yourself accordingly, irrespective of your current experiences. As 2 Corinthians 4:18 advises, "while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." In essence, focus on the unseen, which is the Word, rather than the visible circumstances.
Papa God desires you to live not according to your senses but by His Word. He calls you to reach a point where His Word is your ultimate reality. Just like Jesus and the apostles, it's your turn to live in the truth of God's Word. Start by immersing yourself in the study of God's Word because you cannot live by a Word your spirit has not embraced. In essence, you cannot rely on assumptions; the Word must be a reality in your spirit to see the manifestation.
Listen, dear saint, you are a blessing. Embrace this truth with faith. Current circumstances may not align, but don't be troubled; they are subject to change. The unchanging reality is that God has ordained you as a blessing—a reservoir of eternal resources in this earthly realm. You're not just blessed; you exceed in blessings. So, live with the awareness that you are a blessing to your world—a divine gift and heavenly asset. Let your words and actions resonate with the fact that you are a blessing. This is your divine calling, a call to bless everyone in your world with the abundance of Christ's blessings.
God bless you!
