DIMENSIONS OF LOVE

"[Pray that you] may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:18-19) There is a way that God sees a person, a community of people, an event or cause and it is through the dimensions of love. That is why I define love, God's love, as the accurate estimation or worth of a being. Some people fall into the trap of not estimating the worth of another and retain grudges and grievances to the point that they let the other person die without ever making up or forgiving that person. The reason why this is even possible is because such people have never learnt to estimate the worth of others the way Christ estimates people. However, it is the Holy Spirit's desire to help you comprehend with all the saints the dimensions of Christ's love for people. Ephesians 5:25 shows us the extent of Christ love when it says, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her." The latitude of Christ's love was that He estimated you and every other believer on earth and in heaven worthy of His life. Still, Christ didn't just love the church alone, He expressed His love for the ungodly too. Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." He estimated the ungodly worth of His life. One of the ways that God demonstrates the depth of His love is through His mercies. Psalm 103:11 says, "For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him." Revelations 1:5 describes Him as "...Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood." His love is the basis for the excision of sin for love covers a multitude of sin (according to Proverbs 10:22). This is why you are mandated to "...be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you," (Ephesians 4:32). It doesn't say be kind, tendhearted and forgiving as you see fit but just as God in Christ showed us love. The guaranteed benefit is that when we love, cognizant of the dimensions of Christ's love, we would be fully loaded with God. It's time to reappraise our love walk and really love with the love of God. Remember, that the secret to manifestation is love and when we choose to love the God way, it brings into bear the full personality of God in every relationship, situation or context. Have a blessed day. Faith-Filled Confession I love exactly like Abba. Therefore He is revealed through me. And because of the Revelation of God that I am to my world, nothing shall be able to part me from this love in this life and the next. In Jesus' name. Amen
