YOUR TESTIMONIES ARE YOUR GREATEST ASSET

6/29/2025

“Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.” (2 Peter 1:12)

Your testimonies are your greatest asset. They remind you of the efficacy of God’s Word. They are your weapons against discouragement, frustration, and doubt. Your testimonies are so powerful that hell literally trembles each time you announce what God’s power has accomplished on your behalf. Testimonies not only energize your spirit, but they also stir the faith of others toward God. Praise God!

Take David, for example. When he stood before King Saul to explain why he should be allowed to face Goliath, David said:

“Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” (1 Samuel 17:34–36)

In other words, David’s consciousness of God’s past victories built in him an audacity of faith to face any challenge. To David, Goliath was no different from the lion or the bear—just another defeated foe. While others trembled before the giant, David declared, “This uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them.” Hallelujah!

Let me ask you: How conscious are you of the victories and miracles God has performed in your life? Is there something you can point to that reminds you of God’s power at work? If so, arm yourself with it! Your testimony will drain fear and unbelief whenever you face contrary situations.

Many people miss out on God’s best because of fear. Fear is of the devil, and you must use your testimonies to put him where he belongs. Revelation 12:11 declares, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” In other words, they silenced, suppressed, and frustrated the enemy by their testimonies—testimonies of what God has done and of who Jesus is.

As a Christian, you have Jesus’ testimony as your own. Everything Jesus accomplished by His death and resurrection has been credited to your account. In the eyes of God—and every demon—it is as though you accomplished those works yourself. Hear me! It was for your sake that He died and rose again (Romans 4:25). So when you begin to testify of your victory over hell, death, and this world, you are enforcing His finished work.

The Bible says, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) This means: Submit your consciousness to Christ’s victory; let His mindset become yours, and the devil will flee in terror. Christ has given you His testimony—His victory is now your victory. So, reject anything contrary. Testify boldly that you are a victor over hell and demons!

Anyone who is an “addict” to declaring testimonies of God’s power becomes Satan’s worst nightmare. Be conscious of your testimonies. Get into the Word and let all Christ accomplished consume you like fire. Let the Word burn on your lips; testify again and again! Declare that all things work together for your good and boldly proclaim that nothing fails in or around you. Praise God!

God bless you!

Faith-Filled Confession:

I testify that I am wealthy, healthy, and fulfilled. I lack no good thing. I do not fail. I will spend my days in prosperity and my years in contentment. I refuse to be frustrated, distracted, or disappointed by earthly, transient circumstances. I know that all things work together for my good. Therefore, I count it all joy when adverse situations come my way.

In Jesus’ name. Amen!
