You are the Lord’s delight

2/20/2026

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1–2).

Wearing a sad face and living under condemnation will rob you of God’s best. Scripture is clear: there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ. That means no guilt-cloud hanging over your head, no spiritual probation, no divine frown.

The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free. And as Jesus declared in John 8:36, “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” This freedom is not partial. It is complete. Therefore, as Galatians 5:1 instructs, stand firm in the liberty Christ has given you and refuse to return to bondage.

God is not mad at you. He is not surprised by your mistakes. He is not having a bad day—and neither should you. When you stumble, confess it, receive His forgiveness, and move forward. Jesus already paid the full price. To continue condemning yourself is to ignore the righteousness God has provided through Christ.

The Apostle Paul described this mindset in Romans 10:3—trying to establish your own righteousness instead of submitting to God’s righteousness. Self-condemnation is not humility; it is misunderstanding grace.

Hear this clearly: You are the Lord’s delight.

Zephaniah 3:17 declares that the Lord is in your midst, mighty to save. He rejoices over you with joy. He rests in His love. He rejoices over you with singing. His posture toward you is love—not anger. Celebration—not condemnation.

Hebrews 12:2 tells us that Jesus endured the cross for the joy set before Him. You were that joy. You are worth more than you realize.

Look in the mirror and say, “I am the Lord’s delight.”

Speak it until your heart believes it.

Build an atmosphere of victory with your words.

Celebrate what lies ahead. Trust God with what lies behind. There is no sin greater than the blood of Jesus. What is in front of you is greater than anything behind you.

Arise and move forward in freedom.

God bless you!

Faith-Filled Confession:

I am the Lord’s delight. He rejoices over me with singing. I am forgiven, justified, and made righteous in Christ. His grace sustains me. Goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. I walk in victory, health, peace, joy, and prosperity. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
