YOU ARE NOT HUMAN

11/24/2023

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The person who is born again is not human but divine. The Bible describes him or her as "having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever" (1 Peter 1:23). Vitally, and from God's standpoint, this person in Christ is a child of God not by nomination but by nativity.

What do I mean? In the Bible, and before the birth of Jesus, certain beings were first referred to as sons of God. In Genesis 6:2, the Bible says, "...the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful, and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose." These ones referred to as the sons of God, were angelic beings. Also, the Bible made it clear to distinguish them from human beings.

However, with the birth of Jesus, the word, "begotten" was introduced to further distinguish the Master's sonship of God. John 1:14 says, "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." The word "begotten" meant that Jesus was born of God just as a species would reproduce after their own kind.

And so, Jesus was and is a quality of being that is very God. However, God didn't stop there. The Father sowed Jesus as a seed so that He could reap a harvest of sons according to the spiritual law of sowing and reaping instituted in Genesis 8:22. The Bible says in Hebrews 2:9-10, "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings."

So in quality and nature, we who are born again are exactly like Jesus. 1 John 4:17 says, "Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world." This is the secret that the entire spiritual world knows about us that most of us have not settled on in our minds. Hear me, the warlocks, angels, and demons all know we are not human. Yet, we try every so often to behave like human beings.

Today's theme scripture is a reminder of our migration from humanity to divinity, and from that standpoint, the essence of our divinity is in the demonstration of our new identity through continued prayer, holy imaginations, and Holy Spirit-inspired actions, without which we are mere human beings.

Hear me, there is a call to be true to ourselves, and while it will take the constant practice of the divine life, we must not slide back into behaving like mere human beings. These are not the days to halt between two opinions. You are divine. You are from Zion. And your nativity was never of this world. The Bible says the former things of your humanity passed away when you got born again.

You are blessed.

Faith-Filled Confession

I am born in the class of Jesus, and I think it not robbery to accept who I am. I am divine, begotten by the God of glory. Therefore, I maintain the brooding operations consistent with my nature in continued prayer, holy thinking, and Spirit-inspired action. I am not of this world. Hallelujah!
