YOU ARE NOT A NUMBER

“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all” (1 Corinthians 12:7).

You were born for a purpose. Your life has a meaning. There is something that God has deposited in you that has not been given to anyone else. There is no other you and that makes you special. Child of God, it doesn’t matter what others may have said about you. You may have been told that you are no good and that you will never accomplish anything great. These hurtful words may have even come from close family members and friends that should have been speaking life into you. But regardless of what you have done, and what has been said to you, your life does have a purpose and God is counting on you to bring forth that thing that He has put in you which He has not given to anyone else.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 says, “There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.” The Holy Spirit has different gifts which He distributes as He wills and He has given you something; something that is unique to you. He may have called you to be a broker, but know this: there is no other broker who is just like you. Your uniqueness is not lost in the fact that others have the same title. He has given you the gift of designing. But no one else can do it like you. He has given you the gift of baking, so don’t be discouraged by the tons of others out there that appear to be doing the same thing, because no one can bake just like you. Don’t allow the enemy to rob you of fulfilling your purpose because others appear to be doing the same thing. There is no other you. You are unique and special in God’s eyes.

1 Corinthians 12:7 says “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.” In other words, the gift you have received from God is for the profit of others. You may wonder, “How can it be profitable to others when I am the one getting paid for doing it?” You may be getting paid, but by living out your purpose in life, you are adding value to others. The CEO of Microsoft may have made a fortune from his enterprise but consider for a second, how much value he has added to the lives of others just by bring forth something that God had put in him.

Child of God, you are not just a number. You are an answer; you are a solution to someone’s problem. If you are alive today, it is because there is something that God needs for you to be about. Don’t put it off any longer. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.” There is something that you have which the world needs. Those creative ideas can no longer lie dormant. It is time to bring forth your unique gifts and talents. It is time to fully manifest God's grace.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

·  Declare that all our families are continually protected and shielded from the plans of wicked and unreasonable men and none of their steps shall slide.

·         Also Pray that no weapon form against them shall prosper, being it physical, spiritual or emotional, it is well with them, spirit, soul and body and everything that concerns them is perfected by the Holy Ghost.
