WORRY FREE LIFE

11/9/2023

“For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say” (John 12:49-50).

Aligning one's life with God is the key to a fulfilling existence. I have consistently emphasized that Jesus achieved success by maintaining perfect harmony with God the Father. In John 12:49-50, Jesus himself affirmed this truth by stating, John 12:49-50 “For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.” By following God's lead and speaking His words, Jesus brought about a multitude of miracles wherever He went. Again, in John 5:30, Jesus acknowledged, “By myself, I can do nothing...” illustrating that He faithfully imitated God and walked in His light.

When Jesus encountered a barren fig tree, He said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again, and His disciples overheard" (Mark 11:44). As someone astutely noted, Jesus spoke and then continued with His activities. You might wonder why Jesus acted in this manner. He did so because this mirrors the way the Father operates. The Father remains undisturbed by circumstances and anticipates that His children will walk in His light in every situation. Walking in His light implies being in harmony with Him, or more precisely, perceiving what God sees and aligning your actions accordingly.

In an exchange with Jeremiah, God asked him, "What do you see?" Jeremiah responded, "I see the branch of an almond tree." Because Jeremiah's vision aligned with God's vision, the LORD said to Jeremiah, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” The instant Jeremiah entered into God's reality of things, the power of working miracles was activated.

When Jesus discussed leading a life free from worry, He phrased it as follows, as found in Matthew 6:30-33 in The Message version. “If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met”.

I believe that God is asking you a question today: What do you see? Do you envision victory? I challenge you to immerse your thoughts in God's reality and boldly proclaim, "I SEE VICTORY IN EVERY ASPECT OF MY LIFE." Having spoken these words, make every effort to keep your mind fixed on the victory that Christ has secured for you.

Faith Confession:

I envision a celebration of miracles and an overwhelming abundance of miracles touching every facet of my life. This month, I am moving forward and achieving remarkable progress, in Jesus' name. Amen
