WHY WE ARE SO DIFFERENT: FROM GLORY TO GLORY

05/15/2023

"The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” (Revelations 4:7-8)

We are so different because, like our Father, we can transmute from glory to glory. Now, today's theme scripture is not a subscription but an observation. The worship of our God and Father is endless because His glory is endless. There is no way to fathom God comprehensively in the realm of the spirit because of His capacity to transmute from glory to glory such that even the four living creatures that are with Him in His throne room have no other statement of worship than to say: "...Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” (Revelations 4:8)

This capacity was what Jesus manifested so that He was unrecognizable to two disciples at Emmaus. "Now behold, two of them were travelling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him." (Luke 24:13-16). The glory has blocked their eyes so that to them He was no longer recognizable.

The believer in Christ shares in this same capacity to transmute and ought to be transmuting every so often. 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 says, "Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

You are capable of transmutation from glory to glory as you behold the Lord with your spirit. No other species of being can do this. What then is the benefit? Someone might ask. It will make you unrecognizable to many beings in the spirit realm so much so that your features will no longer be how you identified. Only your rank in the spirit will matter. This is why you cannot be casual about prayer and Bible study as a means to constantly behold the Lord and transmute from glory to glory. As a bonus, it will also alter your physical appearance such that you draw people to Jesus.

Have a beautiful day!

Faith-Filled Confession

I move from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. I am constantly transforming in the realm of the spirit such that I am a wonder there and even here, in the realm of humans. Hallelujah!!
