"But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God." (1 Corinthians 2:9-10)
Believers in Christ are so different because, from the foundation of the world, no group of people has ever had the access that they have individually and as a collective. Isaiah 64:4 says, "For since the beginning of the world, Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him." In other words, the acts of God on behalf of His people were shrouded in mystery for the reason that no group of people before the Church had the capacity to grasp the deep things of God.
As intimate as the Lord was with Moses, He said to him, "When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.” (Exodus 33:22-23)
So how is it that of all of God's creation, we are the one people who would have access to His secrets? 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." We are the one species of being on the planet who are one spirit with Him.
As a matter of fact, there is no believer who cannot access the mind of God for things that have happened or would happen in and around them but you have to be willing to journey deep into the spirit like oceanographers explore the oceans. Here I speak in parables, "And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him" (Genesis 5:24). Your access exceeds what Enoch had and yet your assignment is here on earth. So explore Child of the Most High.
No one before us ever had the kind of access we have to God. We are one spirit with Him and so His mind will always be made plain to us if we seek to know as He knows. This, therefore, means that we can know cancer as He knows. We can know Economics as He knows. We can know people as He knows.
Oh! Speak in other tongues now. Hallelujah!
This is why we are so different.
Faith-Filled Confession
I am joined to the Lord and one spirit with Him. I have access with confidence into the mind of God such that I never again make a misaligned decision ever again. This declaration, I make in the Magnificent Name of Jesus. Amen.
