WHY 5+ME?

"For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:13-14)

There are people who would never hear the gospel and be saved if you do not arise to the place of your calling as a Christian. Make no mistakes about it, you are sent by God to the people in your neighborhood, workplace, school and everywhere you conduct yourself in a certain way, to tell them about the good news of Jesus and their possibilities in God. "And He [Jesus] said to them [His believers], “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). 

The question is, "Are you His believer?" If the answer is yes, then, you have been seen into all the world, not just to make friends or enemies, as the case of many might be, but to preach the gospel to every creature. Now, many go into all the world and preach all kinds of things. They preach economics, motivation, health, fitness, movies and people affairs aka gossip. But this is not the mandate of the Master to you. 

The gospel that you have been sent to preach is the good news that people can become one with God. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." The import of this is when the ones you preach the gospel receive it, they instantly become one with God, spirit with Spirit. 

Now, if the possibility of helping five other people become one with God in spirit and soul, such that they live beyond the pedestrian life to become all they can be, doesn't appeal to you, then what is life? As a matter of fact, this possibility was what propelled Paul to say, "For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!" (1 Corinthians 9:16).

Brothers and sisters, there is too much at stake not to share the gospel with others and as a church, we have aligned with the Lord with our 5+ME Campaign to each propagate and disciple five others for Christ in this Year of Wonder, 2023. 

Don't pass up the opportunity to be a vessel in God's hands for the reconciliation of five others because as you work for the alignment of these ones with the Lord, your life will receive even more alignment so that as things are in heaven concerning you, so they will be on the earth.

Faith-Filled Confession
