WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS

"Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." — 2 Corinthians 3:17

Where the Spirit of the Lord is,there is liberty. This means that when God's Spirit is present, bondage does not have the final word. Fear does not have the final word. Shame does not have the final word. Sin, oppression, limitation, and condemnation do not have the final word.

As a believer, you don't have to search for God's presence as though He is far away. The Holy Spirit lives in you. His presence goes with you wherever you go. When you enter a room, you carry His presence. When you walk into a difficult situation, you carry His peace. When you encounter someone who is hurting, you carry His love. When you face opposition, you carry His strength. When you feel limited, you carry His liberty.

Your presence should not add to the bondage around you; it should introduce an atmosphere of freedom. People should encounter something different when they encounter you—not because of your personality or ability, but because Christ lives in you.

So don't live like someone who is bound when the Spirit of liberty lives within you. John 8:36 AMPC says “So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free.”  In other words, you are free to love. Free to forgive. Free to obey God. Free to walk in righteousness. Free to worship. Free to become everything God has called you to be.

And as you yield to the Holy Spirit, that liberty is not only experienced by you—it becomes something others can encounter through you.

Today, I want you to walk with this consciousnesses that God lives in you. And because the Spirit lives in you, you are a carrier of that liberty to your world today.

Faith-Filled Confession

The Spirit of the Lord lives in me, therefore I walk in liberty. I am free from fear, condemnation, oppression, and every form of bondage. I carry the presence of God wherever I go. His peace, joy, love, and freedom flow through me. My presence brings hope and points people to Christ. I yield myself completely to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to express Himself through me. Wherever I go, the liberty of the Spirit is revealed. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
