WHAT GOD HASN’T GIVEN YOU

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear is not from God. Are you hearing me?  Fear is not from God. Delete it from your thought and your language. It’s not from God. So you must reject it.

There may be situations that naturally make you uncomfortable. There may be moments when you don't know what tomorrow holds, when the report is unexpected, or when circumstances seem bigger than you. But Saint, you must understand that fear is not what God has given you.

God has given you power, love, and a sound mind.

Fear wants to make you focus on what could go wrong. Faith focuses on what God has said. Fear magnifies the problem; faith magnifies God. Fear tells you, “You cannot handle this.” The Word tells you, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).

Notice that Paul did not say God will give you power, love, and a sound mind someday. He has already given them to you. They are part of what you have received from God.

Therefore, when fear comes, don't entertain it. Don't give fear a permanent address in your mind. You may recognize the feeling, but you don't have to agree with the thought. Your response should be the Word.

When you are feel afraid about tomorrow, declare, “God lives in me.”

When you are  feel afraid about your family, declare, “My household is in God's hands.”

When you are feel afraid about your future, declare, “God has prepared good things for me.”

When you are feel afraid because you don't know what to do, declare, “The Holy Spirit guides me.”

When fear says, “What if something goes wrong?” respond with, “God is my helper; I will not fear.” (Hebrews 13:6)

Saint, fear does not get to dictate your decisions. You don't have to run from your future because of fear. You don't have to shrink your vision because of fear. You don't have to abandon what God has told you because fear has shown up.

Remember, God has not given you the spirit of fear.

He has given you power to stand, love to overcome, and a sound mind to think according to His Word.

So, lift your head. Take your eyes off the problem and put them on Jesus. You are not alone. You are not powerless. You are not without help. God lives in you, and fear has no authority over you. In Jesus name!

FAITH-FILLED CONFESSION

I refuse fear in all its forms. God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I am courageous because God is with me. I refuse to be controlled by circumstances, negative thoughts, or uncertainty. My mind is governed by God's Word. I walk by faith and not by sight. I am strong in the Lord, confident in His presence, and secure in His promises. I will not fear because God is with me. Hallelujah!
