WALKING IN THE BLESSING

3/15/2025

"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.” (Genesis 12:2)

The manifestation of the blessing is made possible only when you operate by faith; that is, faith in the Word. The blessing will not be made manifest, as long as you look at physical entities to determine its authenticity. Do you realize that getting a new house is not evidence that one is blessed? The proof that you are blessed is not in the new house, but in the Word. And until you operate with that consciousness, your experiences will not reflect what the Word says. I remember hearing a fellow once say, “If I am blessed, why then are things so unpleasant?” Sadly, he is not alone in this way of thinking; so many of God’s people function this way. Hear me saints, your experiences, good or bad, do not validate the Word of God. God’s Word is independent of every situation. The Word of God needs no validation from anything or anyone because the Word is God. It does not matter that things appear to be unpleasant right now; it does not in any way change the reality that you are you are who God says you are.

David said something remarkable in Psalm 37:25. He said, “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” In this scripture, David was alluding to God’s faithfulness to the righteous and not so much the experiences of the righteous. Saint, God is faithful. If the Word says that you have been blessed, do not try to mentally analyze it. See and address yourself that way, irrespective of whether or not your experiences or current position reflects it. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” In other words, pay no attention to things which you can discern with your senses. You are to look at those things which are not seen; focus on unseen realities in God’s Word. So that fellow, who questioned whether or not he was blessed, based on transient circumstances of life, was looking at the wrong thing.

Hear me saint! You are a blessing, and that is the Word of God. Have faith in it! Things may not look like you are a blessing right now, but don’t be alarmed. Circumstances and situations are subject to change. The only thing that will not change is the reality that God has made you a blessing - a reservoir of eternal resources in the earth realm. You are not just blessed, you are more than blessed – you are a blessing. So have faith in it and walk with the consciousness that you are a blessing to your world. You are a gift from God, and an asset from heaven to bless your world. So, allow your words and conduct reflect who you are - a blessing. This is your call saints; it’s a call to bless everyone in your world with the blessings of Christ.

Today, I pray that you will bring a win to someone in your world. I pray that God will use you to make it happen for someone who will encounter you today. May the world see Jesus in you today, and may the grace of God be evident in your life today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Faith Filled Confession:

I was called to inherit a blessing.  Right now, I possess the blessing. It does not matter the transient circumstances of life. I AM A BLESSING. No matter what I may see, hear or feel, I AM A BLESSING. Everywhere that I go, I manifest the blessing.  Everything I touch is blessed; everyone that I come in contact with comes in contact with the blessing of God. This is God’s word and it is my consciousness. Hallelujah!
