“Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.” —Habakkuk 3:18
Unpleasant or difficult circumstances were never designed to defeat you. John 16:33 (AMP):
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration, but be of good cheer—take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted! For I have overcome the world. I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.”
In other words, every troubling or frustrating circumstance has already been stripped of its power to harm you. Even the situations the enemy crafted with the intention of hurting you have been divinely redirected for your good. They cannot prosper! Hallelujah!
2 Corinthians 4:17 says:
“For our momentary, light distress—this passing trouble—is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure, surpassing all comparison, a transcendent splendor, and an endless blessedness.”
This means that no matter what the world labels as “bad news,” there is a hidden glory working in your favor. What others call adversity is often a miracle unfolding in disguise. So refuse to fear or worry. The Word of God at work in you cannot—and will not—fail. If God says to count it all joy, then count it all joy with a hallelujah on your lips!
Malachi 3:6:
“For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”
Because God does not change, His Word cannot be altered. If He declares that trials are no match for the glory of His Spirit within you, then it is your cue to lift your hallelujah!
Consider God’s own example. When nations conspired against Him and the kings of the earth rebelled, Psalm 2:1–4 says:
“The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.”
This is God’s response to bad news. He laughs—not at your pain, but at the futility of the enemy’s plots. He rejoices because trials become the very stage where His glory in you is revealed. How else would the world recognize that the Greater One lives inside you?
So, child of God, refuse to be moved by a doctor’s report. Come hell or high water—raise a hallelujah!
Do not bow to depression, fear, or discouragement. The One who called you is faithful, and He will surely finish what He began. Victory is already yours in Jesus’ name.
God bless you!
Faith-Filled Confession
Thanks be to God, who always leads me in perpetual victory in Christ, and through my life displays His manifold wisdom and power. To Him be glory forever! Amen.
