VICTORIOUS EVERY DAY

03/21/2024

"For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith" (1 John 5:4).

When I was younger and just starting out in my faith, I met someone who claimed that being a victorious Christian was a tough challenge. At first, I couldn't help but laugh at his statement. But as I thought about it more, I realized he felt that way because his own experiences didn't match what the Bible teaches. Like many people today, he was simply judging God's Word by his experiences. But instead of letting his words discourage me, they inspired me to reaffirm my faith. I decided to spend more time confessing God's Word over my life. When he said it was hard to be victorious, it stirred me to declare boldly, "I reject hardship and lack; I choose to live in abundance and prosperity every day. With each step I take, I walk in divine grace and favor."

Let me say this: Sickness and lack are not tests from God. They are also not the persecutions that the Scripture talks about in 2 Timothy 3:12, where the Bible says that "... all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." The persecution spoken of here is the maltreatment that sometimes accompanies our preaching of the gospel. In other words, it is not persecution when we fail to make evident in our lives the things that Jesus Christ died for us to have. And it does not matter who thinks otherwise; if it contradicts God's Word, reject it!

Know that health, prosperity, and abundance are God's ideas. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake, he became poor so that you through his poverty might become rich." 2 Peter 1:3 says, "By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.”

Saint, everything you need for a life filled with joy and glory was deposited into your spirit at salvation. So, if you're waiting on God for your health and financial blessings, you're waiting in vain. It's time to stop because God has already provided everything you need. You possess victory over sin, sickness, lack, hell, darkness, and every demonic force. There's a divine power within you that empowers you to walk in victory each day. Activate that power with your faith-filled confessions, unlock the treasures within, and witness your experiences align with God's Word.

Glory to God!

Faith-Filled Confession

I declare that I am the embodiment of God's beauty and righteousness on earth. Grace, strength, peace, joy, promotion, and abundance surround every aspect of my life. Wherever I go today, goodness, mercy, and victory follow me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer Points

Pray for school boards, fire departments, and local police across America. Pray that the purposes of our Lord the Savior are established through their work; that mass salvations and the proliferation of the truth of the gospel are the outcome of all the work that these people put in.

Pray that a fresh revelation of the Name, essence, and agenda of Jesus Christ seizes the public imagination in America and that before the end of this year, films, books, and legislation that normalize salvation and the truth of the Gospel become widespread across the country.

Lastly, pray for evangelistic efforts in the form of music festivals, citywide church crusades, and revivals; these events will receive massive receptions in the form of council permits, large attendance, and explosive salvations.
