"Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, And the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the LORD And who meditate on His name. "They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him." Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him." (Malachi 3:16-18)
There is a distinguishing of God's remnant from the rest of the Church and the rest of the world that is now in progress, and the times are a pointer to this development in the realm of the spirit. In times when people who profess to be Christian are siding with the world that it is vain to serve God and that the proud are blessed, then those who fear the LORD must habituate the word and speak to one another. Why? The Bible says, at such a time, the LORD's attention is directed at the ones that fear Him. Notice today's theme-scripture and how people who fear the LORD are described. The Bible says they "spoke to one another, And the LORD listened and heard them..." (Malachi 3:16). Interpreting it from another verse of scripture, those who fear the LORD do not engage in "...forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrew 10:25)
Attendance of meetings where believers can speak to each other is the first yardstick for measuring those who fear God and those who do not. What is your attitude to meetings that are called in Church? That's how to tell if you are still in the nursery of God's love or if you have graduated to where His secrets can become known. Remember Psalm 25:14 says, "The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant."
The next criteria that God uses to adjudicate those who fear Him is based on meditation on His Name. You know, the Jews till today are so awe-struck by the name, YAHWEH, that they do not pronounce it. Rather, they refer to God as "HaShem" or "the Name". Yet, we who are the spiritual Jews according to Romans 2:29, who have received the Name that is above all names have scarcely explored the wonder inherent. Hear me; there is a great need to begin to meditate on the Name of JESUS in this hour. The Bible says, "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth" (Philippians 2:9-10).
The season I am heralding is a season of a great demarcation between those who fear God and those who don't. It is no longer okay to claim to love God with words and offerings. Now calls for the demonstration of discipline and intention. Brethren, this is not a time to miss meetings. Also, dig up our materials on the Name of Jesus that I have taught in Church and let them saturate your being.
Have a great day.
Faith-Filled Confession
I am distinguished from the rest of the world because I have come into an understanding of what it means to be in awe of JESUS. As I bask for His presence and ground myself in the revelation of His Name, my demarcation from ordinary life is enforced in the natural world such that my testimonies befuddle the mind of others. Hallelujah!
