TROUBLE MAKER

12/3/2022

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." 2 Corinthians 4:17

The Word in you is a trouble maker. Say Amen! Jesus said, "….then, when oppression or persecution arises because of the Word, immediately they stumble" (Mark 4:17). The phrase "oppression or persecution arises because of the Word" reveals that the Word will stir up trouble every time. Better still, the word is a TROUBLE MAKER. And this is a good thing! Say Amen! Because how else can you have thunderous testimonies.

Child of God, troubles and difficulties are not bad. They come to work for us, not to shame us or make life impossible for us. They are there to push us into purpose and to reveal the eternal weight of God's glory in our lives. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." Joshua and Caleb said, "Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not." In other words, they saw trouble as something that should not be feared.

Let me state again; troubles are needed especially in this month of Praise. You need to be confronted with difficulties, and if you have not been confronted with one lately, you must examine why Hell is quiet. God said that this month is your month of Praise. Has Hell thrown the kitchen sink at you yet? If it hasn't, then you must get ready. And when they do come, confront them with laughter, praise and thanksgiving. Jesus said trouble would come because of the Word. So expect Hell to throw everything she has at your family, health, finances, job, ministry, kids, and all that concerns you. This is all in an attempt to disprove God's Word in your life. But the devil is a liar!

Saints, behind every trouble, lies thunderous testimonies. Don't fear the difficulties that may be thrown at you. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Don't look at trials and difficulties like an ordinary man. You need trouble to show forth the glory in your life. You need difficulties if you must have authentic and thunderous testimonies. And you cannot pray them away if you believe God's Word. Because as long as the Word is in you, it will forever stir up trouble for your glory.

Today, meditate on 2 Corinthians 4:17 that says, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." Now, begin to look at every trouble as an asset, even as you laugh in the Holy Ghost. Then take steps toward it and not away from it. Rejoice and praise God, knowing that victory is yours already in Jesus' name.

Faith-Filled Confession:

No matter the size, shape, or complexity of the transient earthly circumstances I may face, my mouth will be full of laughter and my tongue with singing. I am assured of my victory. Christ in me is the hope of glory! Hallelujah!
