THINGS ARE GETTING BETTER

"The road the righteous travel is like the sunrise, getting brighter and brighter until daylight has come" (Proverbs 4:18).
There is a purpose to your being. It may not feel or look that way because of the circumstances around you, but I want you to hear God's voice today. He is saying, "My child, there is a purpose to your being even in the midst of your circumstances." So, before you allow your thoughts to wander off into the realm of defeat and depression, listen to Jesus' words in Luke 12:15. He said, "Watch out and guard yourselves against every form of greed; for not even when one has an overflowing abundance does his life consist of nor is it derived from his possessions." In other words, human accomplishment means nothing if it does not carry with it, eternal value.
Not long ago, I read the news of the 36-year old daughter of the co-owner of the New York Giant's who died from suicide. I could only imagine the family's pain. I thought to myself, no amount of money or material possessions can buy true happiness and joy. Many young people today chase after these things and, even after acquiring them, they are still depressed. You know why? It is because joy does not come from an abundance of material possessions. Joy is of the Spirit.
Many have thought, if I can just have this, or if I can only have that, I will be happy. God wants you to be married, have a good paying job, travel and meet new people, but here's the truth: If you are not happy now, there's nothing anyone can give you to make you happy. Solomon, a man who was the wealthiest in his day, said, "Vanity of vanities! All [that is done without God's guidance] is vanity [futile, meaningless—a wisp of smoke, a vapor that vanishes, merely chasing the wind]."
Are you feeling downcast today because of the victory that you have not yet recorded? Or have you allowed your circumstances to define you? Rather than wear a long face, why not see the opportunity in your circumstance? Because if God has said that you will be thus and thus, believe it! It may take time, but God's Word concerning you will surely come to pass. Proverbs 4:18 says, "The road the righteous travel is like the sunrise, getting brighter and brighter until daylight has come."
Don't compare your race to that of another, because your race is unique to you and your destiny is unique to you. You are not in competition with anybody else. 2 Corinthians 10:12 says, "We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise".
Child of God, stay joyful. God is working your life for something amazingly beautiful. So, don't fight it, yield to it.
God bless you in Jesus name.
Faith-Filled Confession:
The joy of the Lord is my strength. And so, I declare that I am supernaturally strengthened to accomplish all that I have been called to do. In Jesus' name. Amen
