“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” — 2 Corinthians 4:17
Every challenge you have faced up to this point has not been able to destroy you. You are still standing. And just as God brought you through before, He will bring you through again. This too shall pass.
Sometimes the pressure feels overwhelming, and the weight of life may seem unbearable. But child of God, do not give up under the pressure. What you are facing is not meant to break you—it is producing strength, growth, and glory in you.
You are not alone in your struggle. Even when it feels like no one understands, God is with you. And His Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that no trial comes to us that is beyond what others have faced, and God will never allow us to be pushed beyond what we can bear. He always provides grace to carry us through.
I have learned this about God: He moves mightily when we stop trying to figure everything out on our own and simply trust Him. When you place your confidence in Him, you will begin to see His hand at work in ways you never imagined.
The Scripture says that these afflictions are only for a moment, but they are producing an eternal weight of glory. That means every battle, every delay, every disappointment, and every painful moment is working for your good and preparing something greater ahead.
So instead of allowing hardship to silence your praise, let it push you deeper into worship. Praise God even when it hurts. Worship Him even when it doesn’t make sense. Your worship in difficult seasons is proof that your faith is stronger than your circumstances.
Keep pressing on. God is faithful, and victory is closer than you think.
God bless you!
Faith-Filled Confession:
I will bless the Lord at all times, and His praise shall continually be in my mouth. God is my strength, my provider, my healer, my protector, and my peace. No challenge can overcome me because the Lord is with me. I press on in faith, knowing that all things are working together for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
